When Pitbull Gets His Own Album!
In March 2017, Pitbull and Lil Uzi Vert’s new album, Love on the Brain, was released.
The pair’s previous two releases, 2017’s A Tribe Called Quest’s The Ghost & The Music and 2017’s Love, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at No: 1 on Billboard 200 Albums chart.
The album debuted at #1 on the Top Albums Chart and #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Pitbull released his new album with Lil Uzz and Snoop Dogg in late March.
He previously teamed up with Lil Yachty and DJ Snake for the track “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” which was featured on Lil Uzzy’s upcoming album, I Love You, My Name Is My Name.
On June 4, 2018, Pitbumpthed his first-ever solo concert at the Lincoln Memorial, which drew some controversy.
Pit and Uzi made the trek from New York City to Washington, D.C., for the event.
During the show, Pit asked fans to join him onstage, which sparked some controversy after he appeared to shout at people and was interrupted by Secret Service agents.
A number of people who were not fans of the rapper’s performance, including President Donald Trump, held up signs and raised their hands as Pitbull shouted obscenities and was pushed to the ground.
“I love you, Secret Service!”
Pitbull screamed, and a group of Secret Service officers jumped on him and punched him in the face.
“That was really funny,” Pitbull told The New York Times.
“They just stood there and stared.
But they were doing their jobs.
They didn’t do anything wrong.
They were protecting us, but they had their minds made up.”
Pitbull has since been back on stage, and his performance of the song “Don’T Look Back In Anger” has been covered by many artists, including the Rolling Stones, the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, and Drake.
The song was also featured on the album’s cover art.
