Elvis’s carol song, ‘Elvis’ gets a new home on YouTube
In a surprise announcement, YouTube on Monday announced that a song called “Elvis” will be the new home of the Elvis Presley movie.
The video clip is the first public clip that the video platform has uploaded to its platform in more than a year, with a new release date set for Nov. 23.
“Elvis Presley: Home is Home” is the third movie by Steven Spielberg and the fourth by Mark Wahlberg, who stars as Elvis Pressey.
It has been hailed as a breakthrough for the YouTube-owned service, which has been working on a film that will have a wider audience and has also been widely praised by critics.
A trailer for the movie was released earlier this year and was followed by a trailer for a “Star Wars” movie that was released in April.
In a statement to ABC News, the company said the film will feature a variety of music that will be used throughout the film, including “Elvies” and other popular songs by the legendary rock star.
“We’re excited to have the video for ‘Elvys’ as the first song that you will see in the film,” said Matt Stinson, YouTube’s head of content, in a statement.
“We look forward to sharing more as the film progresses.”
In a tweet on Monday, a fan of the movie tweeted that “Elvin’s Carol” would be the song of choice for the film.
“I think the new ‘Elvin’ song is going to be the soundtrack for the next movie,” the user wrote.
“I think Elvis will be in it.”
